whoohoohoo! it was totally great at DI's [insert 'less than 3 sign' here. blogger doesn't let me write it.:(] birthday(and valentines' day) ytd!!^w^ thank God for the wonderful time spent there!!:D

woke up at 8.30am, got prepared and left for clementi while sis was still snoring her head off.=.=" we were supposed to run through the skit and then learn and rehearse the dance.:D however, even though clarissa and i were on time... the whole of the other members were late. LOL.xD but after all of them arrived we ran through the skit lines, stage directions and started practicing. all the characters in the skit are real DI members, but we used their chinese names.xD (i have a feeling they're pretty embarrassed with the whole church knowing their chinese names now.) wahahaha i only had 2 lines.xD but because i was playing ZHENGYUAN(lol. sorry isaac.) i had to do the epic move: "i found a dollar, i found a dollar!!" *slip and fall* as adapted from camp with the rune.:P and then i had to attack everyone with 'raw chicken feet'. LOL.xD so yeah we just practiced and tried to remember our lines... and then when bernice came, we started the dance. ohoho it was indian(and abit hip-hop) dance!:D we spent about 1~2 hours trying to learn it, and actually, it was only about 1~2 min long. LOL.:P oh and we found out that eunice actually has a secret talent for dancing. HAHA!xD and when cheryl came, she spent less than 15 min to learn it. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.:O

soooo, after a long time of practice, 3.30pm finally came! we went in, settled down, and played some games!:D all the girls had to draw a card with a guy's name on it, then play the games with that guy. ohmygosh can you believe it, sis got zhaowei!:O it's like, so cool. he was her angel during camp, also from pineapple during camp, and now her 'date' for valentines'! ohohohoho...;) anyways, i went with jon leow. he's pretty nice.:D so yeah, the games were all pretty fun... then we had a good food time with sophia~!:D and it was our turn to perform.x( i was superrr nervous. but it was really fun acting the skit and looking at the faces of the real characters!xD and then the dance was also very fun!:D yaywheewhoo go sopiahh!xD i think we did really great as indianies and actresses with only that morning to practice.:D and then, other groups went out to present! rhema's was a vid with a comedy to thank edward.:D then elissa and co.(lol) went out and sang two songs!:D then presence eternal went out next with another two songs.:D after that, it was zoe's turn. it's also like our skit, featuring real DI members in a funny way.xD it was really great!:D and after zoe came... kairos. i need to admit, they did a great job.xD changing the lyrics, making the video, as well as making us laugh.xD now i have the misconception that 'baby baby baby oh~' is really 'poly poly poly whoa~'.:X and it kinda makes me scared of senior high after their remix song.:O i think next was the eaglets' performance, with a song dedicated to all the eagles!:D it was really sweet. then they read out a list of well-wishes from DI members to their respective leaders. awww~:D last up, was a&d, who changed their name to... phoster!:D their performance was really great too!:D:D i'm sure it moved the hearts of many!:) and then, we had a vid montage showing all that had happened from the prev DI anniversary till now... at the end, they showed the new people that joined the DI family during this time, and my picture was so unglam, i kinda felt embarrassed.:X but anyways, i'm really glad to be in DI!:D:D:D finally, we had a cake cutting session! and i had to go up. i was kinda shy... but then again, it's an honour to be able to make a wish for DI!:D we blew out the candles, then ended with a short message from gladys and a song!:D

at the end, we all each got a DI notebook!!:D i feel abit 舍不得 to write in it leh... LOL.xD so, it ended, and after hanging around abit more, we headed home.

i really think that ytd was a really memorable day... i wanna thank God for letting me enjoy it to the fullest, and for, of course, bringing me to DI in the first place. YAYWHEEWHOO PRAISE GOD!^w^
