it was 3 years ago when i first saw hongxia. i remember that she had short hair that time. we were all thinking that she was very tall and very dangerous. soon, the match started, and after a long battle against hongxia's slamming, our school lost the finals. the seniors were crying pretty badly, and we were kinda blaming it on hongxia... and the following 2 years, my team battled against xinyi, who was also really good. i remember that the last ball of the 2008 finals was spiked by xinyi towards me, and i couldn't get it. everyone in the pcps team disliked hongkah. but what i didn't expect was that today, xinyi and hongxia would be so dear to me.

it all began with hongxia adding my sister on facebook last year. afterwards, she invited my sister to the X-Factor Camp with Destiny Impact. my sister began to go back to DI after deciding to follow Christ. afterwards, during my sister's birthday celebration by Sophia, i was made to go along, and it was the first time i met Sophia, and i saw xinyi and hongxia once more. we played many games, and it was pretty fun. hongxia was really nice to me, and i thought that maybe the 'hongkah monster' and the 'black specs scary spiker' which defeated us so easily years ago weren't that bad after all. after a scary encounter at home, my sister encouraged me to go to DI with her just to feel safe, and i did. hence, i met up with Sophia once more. it was Velvet Valentines' that saturday. when i first entered DI, hongxia jumped happily and hugged me tightly, welcoming me. xinyi was quieter, but she did welcome me too. afterwards, the programme started. i felt nice, so i went back every week. eventually, somewhere in february/march, i began to follow Christ too.

after that, we did many many epic stuff together, like during Marchie Madness at ECP. all the splashing of water and picnic and dragging each other into the sea and cycling... it was really awesome. all the DI events were filled with fun. so were the sunday lessons with hongxia. everything was simply so awesome. but 2 weeks ago, eunice announced that hongxia and xinyi will be leaving due to certain reasons. everyone was crying alot. the two of them were just so cheerful and lively and important to all of us. but we had to accept things. today, we had a picnic in DI as a farewell to them. everyone was enjoying themselves.

xinyi and hongxia, thank you for all that you've given me all this time... the two of you are really very precious to all of us, and we really love you guys loads. good luck in all that is in your next step in life! we'll love you always, and we're always gonna welcome a visit from you. see you guys on the volleyball court again!
